It can go outside as well, but I liked it so much I decided to keep it inside. I didn't put the water in it, but I did try it and the sound is very soothing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an adorable rustic fountain. We placed it in a little flower bed by our house and enjoy the aesthetic it brings. My only complaint is that the sound of the water is just enough to trick your body into thinking it needs the bathroom! Or at least that's what my husband tells me. The watery accompaniment complements the Spring birdsong, and is the perfect addition to my budding calming oasis of a yard.

I was hoping this would have the same sound but as it small it just did not have the same sound. That being said it’s well made and works great. It’s perfect for a small patio

It looks like a white pot with a smaller white pot on top of it kind of catty corner from it any faucet handle that runs up along the top to the smaller one, you just feel the bigger pot on the bottom about less than half full of water plug it in and it comes out of the spout into the little pot drains back into the bigger one over and over makes a great addition to your deck patio or yard even super cute.

Assembly was very easy, and comes with a tool to use. The fountain is very soothing, and I have had zero issues with it. You do have to be careful with your water levels, as to not have splashing. It comes with instructions on how to properly care for your fountain.
