submitted byShelly - 7 years agoTarget staff supportA: I use these bags for postcard sales, but I just measured one and see that depending on the goblet diameter (the portion holding the wine) and glass height, it could be used to loosely enclose a wine glass. A goblet in the max. 3"4" dia. range and glass height of approx. 7"-8" should work. It'd only be a loose wrapping, though, and wouldn't support the glass against breakage. I've found these bags at T's retail stores and they're very inexpensive, so I suggest you buy a pkg. of 20 and try them yourself. I buy in quantity from T's online site since I use a lot of them. Hope this helps!

These bags were exactly what I was looking for to use for gift bags for my son‘s sixth birthday party. The twisty ties that come with them are tiny and do not adequately close the bag for me because I do have some tall objects in the bag. I suppose they may work if you are just twisting the bag and closing it without anything tall in the bag. Overall nice product for the price.

The wire fasteners are waaaay too small to close bags with any tissue paper or items of width. I had to use baby hair ties to close our goodie bags.

These used to be a couple inches taller with better quality twist ties (sold in a pack of 12 instead of 20). Several also weren’t totally sealed at the bottom. I had a few leftovers from around this time last year and they’ve definitely changed for the worse this year.

This is just wrong. These bags were listed as cellophane. They are not cellophane. They are soft slightly clouded plastic. I am very disappointed. I feel like I’ve been cheated. I ordered cellophane bags two packages and I got clouded soft plastic bags. Cellophane is crisp, clear and slightly crinkly and has some weight and texture. Target needs to have correct labeling of its product or you you’re just cheating your customers.
