Q: Does this bag work for sous vide? I'm looking to put them in water at a temperature of 148F, for about two hours. I read that they are BPA free and food safe but I would like confirmation.

A: Plastic is manufactured from petroleum products with the addition of various chemicals to produce a material with specific flexibility and opacity. Regardless of its BPA status, there are many other chemicals used in the formation of plastics that could leach into your food besides BPA. Storage is one thing, but I personally would never use plastic, at the very least, in any kind of heated production due to major future health ramifications.

I'm a 40+ year vegan and will NOT buy your ziplock-style bags if they have photos of bacon on them. Please think about things like this when designing your products. NO meat or other animal products on packaging. You literally just lost a loyal ziplock buying customer!

The worst bags ever! Just save your money and get ziplock. It’s impossible to get these closed and all you have to do is pick up the bag for it to open. Literally tears and rips in half as soon as you open it up.

These are the worst zip lock baggies I’ve ever tried. They do not zip easily and once you think you’ve gotten them closed, it takes 1% effort to open them. They literally fall open in your hands.

Idk what happened to the quality control on these, but I have yet been able to open a bag out of the most recent box of 90 that I purchased without it ripping. The way it rips makes it almost impossible reopen the bag after putting something in it
