  • A: Not unless you want to have all kinds of chemicals leach into your food. Plastic bags are made from petroleum and it takes all kinds of chemicals to make them soft and pliable.

All of our food storage bags are tested by a 3rd party using the following leakage test criteria: Zip-lock leakage - Fill bag with water to 50% of bag capacity.     Nasty Chemical Smell

    I've used these many times before and didn't have any issues. When I bought them this time the bags had a very strong chemical smell to them- definitely didn't seem safe to put food in, so ended up throwing them all away. So disappointing

    Garbage. Target changes their products for the worse but leaves the same listing on the website so the rating looks good. These went from 5 stars to absolutely useless. The bag rips away from the zip seal when you try to open it. I had to switch to name brand after years of using these.
