The zip part of the bag is easier to rip out of the bag, and I am very careful about the useful life of things that I buy. Now I have to be even more careful.

They rip frequently

I never thought I'd review ziplock bags. For me, ziplock brand was always the default go-to, as the quality is usually excellent, and always met my needs. However, when I started using a new box of these bags, I was perplexed as to why I was getting so may rips in the bags. I wasn't putting in anything sharp or pointed, filling it to the max, etc., and yet they have ripped!

EVERY bag in the pack has ripped

I buy Ziploc bags because of their quality. However, the last pack I bought has been a disaster. The top of EVERY bag has ripped when I've tried to open them. Is this a manufacturing defect or a new normal? Regardless, I'm now thinking twice about purchasing Ziploc products.

Which is best? For those using Ziploc bags multiple times

My wife grew up on a farm, so she simply doesn't see not using Ziploc bags many, many times. She puts the bags open-down, so the water drains out the bottom. That's the traditional way. I put the bags open as wide as possible, in the sun if possible, since I see evaporation as faster than drip-drying. I call my way the scientific way. Do you have a professional, manufacturer opionion or research on which is best for drying? It would settle a long-running difference of opinion in our house.

Did you change the thickness of the plastic ? The bags rip very easily when we try to open them after taking them out of the freezer. Very disappointed.
