A: Of course it is. As long as the sweater isn't too big for the bag. Press out the air before sealing. I use these bags for a multitude of uses. Love them

A: None of the bags are this big. The 2.5 gal. bag holds 12x12 paper, if there's not too much of it.

Q: Why are these bags listed as "2.5 Gallon" bags, when the package says they are 7.6 L? And since 7.6 Liters = only 2.00771 gallons, why is the actual size almost half gallon smaller than you say?

It all depends on the size of the bottle measured – flat bag and digitally we are getting 19 inches, so if the bottle is smaller than 19inches – than there should not be a problem. Q: 2.5 gallon?? The box says 7.6L, which is 7.6 liters converted to gallons, which is 2.00 not 2.5??

A: Hello - Thanks for reaching out! The Target jumbo slider bag holds 2 gallons of water at the open/close line which is printed on the bag. When the bag is filled to the total bag capacity (up to the red closure profile), the bag holds 2.59375 gallons. Hope this helps. - Beth

I don't use these bags for food. I actually use them as an alternative to reusable wet bags in the summer since my son's camp requires a separate bag for wet/dry clothes and towels since they go to the pool daily. These are great for all sorts of things besides food. You will find so many uses for them. My husband even uses them in the garage for organizing stuff. Great value and great price. If they had more in a box, I would buy those as well. It used to be the only place i could get them was at dollartree but you only got 5 to a box. So I really appreciated Target for getting these. Every home should have these.

These bags are great! There is a variety of uses in the kitchen but also around the house! I’ve used them to mix recipes that are then used to coat things like crackers (which can be done right in the bag). I have also found them handy for storing Christmas ornaments and other household items while they’re in storage.

So nice to have a storage bag bigger than a gallon. We use these for everything! We store helmets in these in garage to keep bugs/spiders out. We store smaller toys together in bigger toy bin. We put donations in these that are a set so they stay together. I put bigger food bags like sugar in these because even the ones with a sealable top don’t stay sealed. Very handy size to have!

These are vastly less expensive than the brand-name ones, but the zipper rips off the bag if you don’t handle it with kid gloves, so I end up wasting more than I’m happy with. But even with the waste I think it comes out less expensive than the brand name.

These sliders are just as good as the name brand ones. This jumbo size is great when storing items larger than an 8x10 photo. I store my grandkids’ puzzles with pieces in them. Lots of times I’ve needed this size when the gallon size wouldn’t fit some larger items.
