Q: Is this chalk white or colored?

A: The chalk is multicolored. Each piece of chalk is actually two colors. The outside of each piece has a color coating that comes off when drawing/coloring. So the two tone you see is what each piece of chalk is.

The chalk is bright and seems to go on pretty smooth, however it stains clothes which is a full stop for us. Morning time outside in our pj’s mean we have multiple pairs ruined. I haven’t seen this with our other chalk or even the paint chalk we got of the same brand. Disappointed this wasn’t considered when making a kids product.

This is our favorite chalk because it comes with 2 holders you can put a piece of chalk in so that it’s easier to grip. I wish the plastic container the chalk comes in was slightly more durable as we’ve cracked and broken 2, but not bad for the price.

Stains everything and does not wash out. Every pair of my daughter’s cat and jack leggings or tee is now stained, even after talking the clothes off immediately and stain treating. Not worth the trouble.

This pack of chalk is so unique in that it includes colors I’ve never seen in chalk form. Usually, we get the traditional pastel pink, blue, purple, orange, and green, but this pack has the most stunning deep blues and purples, gorgeous blue greens, grey, white, … and they are beautifully pigmented. I wish I would have grabbed several packs to keep my toddler busy.

I saw some reviews that mentioned staining but I thought maybe those were about the polka dot ones. Nope. I'm pretty good at getting out laundry stains, my kids goes to daycare and comes home with all manner of stuff on his clothes from food to poop to paint. I can get nearly all of it out. Not this chalk! These shorts have been washed at least 8 times since the chalk incident and (mostly in the interest of science/stubbornness) I've tried a different strain treatment each time to no avail. It's not the end of the world in regard to these shorts but it's a big fail for a kid's chalk. A less serious irritation is there's no way to attach the holders to the container (apart from tape)
