Q: Does anyone know if this would be good to guard against birds hitting the window? I would think it would since they wouldn't be able to see through it but thought I would ask here too ;)

Bird's hit the window based on the reflection they see in the glass which appears to them as a continuation of their habitat. There are options for protecting your windows from wild bird strikes.

A: Yes. This is only applied with some water and should peel off like a suction cup when you are ready to remove.

A: Artscape uses no adhesives, it stays on the glass via a suction. When you are ready to replace Artscape (2-4 years recommended) it peels off leaving no residue behind!

A: Artscape was designed for decorative and privacy purposes, although Artscape blocks 80-90% UV light we do not recommend using Artscape as a performance film.

A: Absolutely yes, Artscape uses no adhesives of any kind. It styas on the window like a giant suction cup. To take it down just pull diagonally from a top corner.

I got this window film for a shower glass. I didn't want to cover the whole thing, so I scalloped the top edge. It was easy to apply, although I do have some little air bubbles, but you really can't see them. I'm happy with the result and like that it can be removed easily.

Very good quality-made product and easy to install. I used it to gain privacy with a glass paned back window. Tested out the transparency. If your literally within an inch up against it you can see a person and colors. But as you back up on either side even at 6 inches you can only see a blurred silhouette. So at a few feet from door you can barely tell there is someone there other than movement of a shadow. I dont always cover up when I am home alone so this is going to be a lifesaver when someone is standing at my back door, they will not be able to tell!

I was looking for a sophisticated look which didn't resemble that quintessential "bathroom window". Although a bit tricky to set (but not impossible), it's well worth it. I've had this filter on for nearly 2 years and it's still in perfect condition.

Quality Product. Nice thickness but hard to cut. No scoring guidelines made cutting it difficult. Solid thick backing but product was wrinkled and buckled in some areas. Wrinkles went away during application. Squeegee was included. Only enough for a small window sorry I would have to order more just to finish the double panes.

I purchased this window film about 2 weeks ago. It was well-packaged and arrived fairly quickly. I followed the instructions carefully and am really happy with how well it went on the window, and how it is so far. It is attractive and lets in a lot of light while providing a privacy screen from the neighboring mobile home. I actually find it is softening the glare from the white mobile home next door, which is awesome.
