Description
Muscari, also commonly known as Grape Hyacinths, are spring flowering bulbs that should be planted in the fall. Each produces a cluster of narrow strap-shaped, basal leaves, usually appearing just before the flowers. Leafless flower stems bear dense spikes of small flowers. These dainty, grape-like clusters of color make a dramatic underplanting for taller bulbs of nearly any color. Planted en masse, in broad informal sweeps, they create an unforgettable show! Muscari colonize and naturalize readily, are self-seeding under ideal conditions, and thrive for many years to come with little care or maintenance. When in bloom, feel free to cut some flowers for tiny, perfect vase bouquets. Muscari Dark Eyes produces beautiful dark blue florets with white edges on slender stems.

The instructions for planting are easy to read. Although they have not come out yet, I'm hoping that by the springtime, they will be as beautiful as the pictures.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think Muscari dark eyes are beautiful! I'm familiar with hyacinths but not grape hyacinths they differ with a unique appearance. The bulbs were securely packaged and included a lovely informational card giving all the info you possibly need. It's clear this Company cares about their products and their consumers! The bulbs are a nice size and look healthy. I easily planted the 25 bulbs into my garden then watered afterwards I will continue caring for them watering when needed. I can't wait until Spring time watching them grow excited for when they bloom!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These bulbs came packaged very well, and all of the bulbs looked good. None appeared to be dead or damaged - and they were all a really good size. The bulbs came with very clear planting instructions, and the company website has additional information if you should want more. I’ve got them in pots now, just waiting for these little guys to get to work.

Bulbs arrived in perfect condition and were firm to the touch as expected. We planted them when the weather had cooled off and it was safe to go ahead with the spring planting. It was sealed very securely, there was packing paper to carefully secure the bag of bulbs from shifting everywhere in the box. The bulbs look wonderful and healthy! They are sure to look spectacular when they grow and bloom and I can't wait! I like the informational card that is provided with the package, including a nice photo of the flower when bloomed. You can tell the company really puts a lot of care and attention into packing and shipping their products!

After a severe heat wave tapered off, I planted them in potting soil in containers. Unfortunately, none of them show any signs of growth.
