Q: How can I mount this on a plaster wall, since drywall anchors can't be used on plaster? Thanks!

submitted byKatrina - 5 years agoTarget staff supportA: I've had to do this several times. Ideally find a stud. If you have Try finding the stud using a strong magnet on the wall. Stud finders usually don't work. The lathe wood strips are nailed to the studs every 16-24 inches. Next hope to drill into a lathe. If still loose use the plastic plugs in the wall that expand when you insert the screw into them. If that doesn't work get toggle bolts that tighten on the inside of the wall, but know that you will have to drill a larger diameter hole to fit the bolt clamp through.

This is a great quality mirror and a good size. It’s been a great addition to our home decor. The outside of the mirror is lined with a thin black metal and has a hook on the back. It also comes with a screw and drywall mount to use.

Mirror was broken when I Unboxed it. It didn’t have the outer layer of protective cardboard & came without any kind of label. Even though I sent pictures of it broken, I still have to ship it back to Target to get my refund.
