Q: Will this stick to a slightly texured surface? The shower enclosure "wrap" has a sligthly textured floor that previous mats have not stuck to.
A: No, I bought today and it DOES NOT stick to textured surfaces.

A: Look into synthetic vs natural rubber though!

Q: Is this mat designed for use in a tub or only as a bath mat outside of the tub? In other words is this designed to be submerged in water and stay suctioned to a tub?

Q: I'd like to know if this is made from natural or synthetic rubber.
A: synthetic. While not composed of PVC plastic, these make no claims about being natural latex rubber. They are clearly impregnated with dies, and maybe other junk, but still probably better than PVC.

Q: Can this rubber mat be washed in a washing machine? The description says to "spot clean" but I'm wondering what the package says about machine washing.
A: We recommend the following for bath mat care. To prevent build up on your mat or on your tub, we recommend cleaning the mat regularly. To clean the underside of the mat, lay it down in the tub upside down. Spray a non-bleach household cleaner on the mat and allow to sit for 15-20 minutes. Then scrub it with a scrub brush that would be used for a tub or shower walls. For tougher stains allow the cleaner to stand for 30 minutes or longer. Lifting, rinsing and hanging to dry after each use will help to reduce the amount of build up on the mat or tub. To clean any marks on your tub we would recommend using a standard tub cleaner. A cleaner that specifically removes stains or uses an abrasive safe for tubs would be the best option. Ensure to follow the cleaner's use instructions. We do hope you find this information helpful.
