Q: Do these lights have a timer or auto shut off after several hours?

A: Under the "details" description, it says the lights have an on/off switch, not a timer or auto shut off.

Q: Listed under details the description says 7 day light time. Does this mean after 7 days with being on for 24 hours, the lights stop working and are useless? So that’s 148 hours of lights being on and then they are bad?

A: The working time for these lights are up to 100 hours on a new set of batteries.

One set turned on and wouldn’t shut off. The 2nd set wouldn’t turn on at all. Don’t waste your time or money with these.

The timer does not work. I ordered 4 boxes, which two strings in each, and none of the timers on any of the strings work. I have to remember to turn the lights on and off (by pressing 8 buttons) every evening and morning.
