As the other reviewer stated, these candles are actual quite a bit shortener than the other varieties available at Target. Additionally, mine came with two WILDLY different wick lengths, with one almost an inch and a half and the other barely half an inch. They burned quickly, and fairly evenly. However, I think describing them as “bleeding” is generous. There’s a tad bit of red in the center that, when melted, mixes with the black to become a…warm toned black. Certainly gothic. Definitely in the realm of Halloween. But does not at all capture the idea of blood and/or a bleeding candle. After burning, they simply look like a very dark plum candle.
Buy the Threshold bleeding candles instead

These candles are shorter and more expensive per candle than the Threshold pack of bleeding candles you can currently order from Target.
