They definitely were suitable for a bunch of different things, however, she decided for the large one to put candles in it and the smaller one to put matches and lighters. They were a great size for small knickknacks such as ponytail holders or jewelry. The only downside was there were not too many to choose from in terms of color. Because she has a very neutral room, these would be fine, however, if she had other colors, it would likely clash. For the most part, cute and useful. I received an incentive to write this review.
