Awful. My daughter got so frustrated and I agreed with her, this doesn’t work properly with the supplies provided. The thread is too thick and the fabric you punch into is not tightly woven enough for this to function. What an absolute piece of trash.

Fun soo cute but...
This craft is soo cute though the instructions are hard to understand my daughter just had her dad read them then told her how to do it and sometimes the needle would fall through bet we could bring it back up. Over all my daughter loved it she just needed some adult help

Not for beginners!
Should have read reviews before I purchased. I’m a beginner so I thought this would be good to start with. Everything was good until the punch threading which did not stay. Also, stuck myself! Ouch! $5 loss.

Wouldn't purchase. The fabric is too thin and caused huge holes to form. An entire row of stitches would be ruined. I couldn't complete more than two rows without the fabric splitting completely.

Loops Won't Hold
Fabric won’t hold loops. The larger kits work great, but all the mondo Llama punch needle kits with the smaller needle and thread won’t hold!

Defective punch needle
These directions are terrible and the punch needle was defective. The punch needle interior was glued shut, so we couldn’t thread the thread through the needle - so now I need to buy a punch needle that works. Also, the directions are terrible - especially for a person who relies on the directions showing the actual materials provided in the box. The directions showed images of tools that were not included.

Great beginner kit
This little craft is great for beginner punch needling. I saw the many reviews on how poor it is but I disagree! The instructions are great, even my 7 and 9 year old are doing their own. One needle did break when one child was using it, so that’s unfortunate but overall I think it’s a great beginner kit !

I bought this for my daughter and I to do together. It was so fun! The instruction and package was great and the patterns are beautiful. We are still working on finishing our last one and highly recommend.
