Zero stars. Wish i would have read reviews. Pretty sure no one has ever gotten this product to work. Completely defective

Don’t recommend this product for kids or adults, really disappointed! It looks easy and fun to do but it ain’t, it makes big holes and the string comes back out and it won’t stay like it shows in the instructions.

Wish I would’ve seen the reviews before buying this in store. My 9 year old picked this out, and I thought it would be a fun summer project. We didn’t even make it as far as the bad reviews got. The screw in our embroidery hoop won’t stay in. It just falls right out, so we can’t even get started with the project that apparently won’t work anyways. The directions didn’t even say how to get the fabric in the embroidery hoop. The directions just start with the fabric already secured in it. Target should be giving people their money back for this. Absolutely ridiculous.

Just made some big hole and l waste my money .

The needle just makes big holes in the fabric, making it unusable. Won’t hold the yarn. Frustrating for my 10 year old and myself, and we are very crafty. Not worth it at all.

The yarn just snaps. No matter how careful you try to be, the needle just snaps the yarn and the stitches fall out. Thought this would be fun for my 8 yo but we both ended up frustrated even after watching some YouTube tutorials.

Like other reviewers, we had issues with the fabric not holding the stitches. The printed instructions included were a little tricky to understand for a beginner, but was easier to understand after watching the video on the item’s description on the Target app. All in all, it seemed cute but just wasn’t worth the frustration of the stitches pulling right out!

This craft was awful and a huge disappointment. Usually, we love Mondo Llama's crafts. We followed the directions exactly. The fabric will not hold the thread even if you do the stitches correctly.

So I feel like punch needle has kind of a tricky learning curve. The kit does come w everything you need. Although I'll probably use glue and hot glue to finish the craft. I don't think the fabric is very forgiving if you make a mistake. That would be my biggest issue w this kit. If you've never done punch needle before your going to make a mistake. Even if you have experience, mistakes happen. You can recover but more that 2x in the same area youre going to make holes. I'd definitely recommend watching some videos before starting. It would be nice if they could include a blank piece of fabric so a person could proactive a little bit before starting the actual patterns. But hey it's $5 I'd say it's definitely worth the $5.

Junk. The fabric is so cheap that the needle just leaves holes. I have punch needled before so this was not my rodeo. Waste of money

It doesn’t work at all. I’m an experienced crafter and even tried swapping out the fabric (which other reviewers blamed) for better fabric I already owned, and it still doesn’t work. I think the needle tool is a cheap piece of junk, which ruins the whole kit. Don’t waste your money.

The fabric would get very holy. waste of your money.

The hardest craft to do became the lack of quality muslin. Waste is of 5 bucks

I could not figure this out. I watched a ton of YouTube videos and followed the directions it came with. Maybe this is a great kit if you already know how to do it, but I’ve never done this before and I found it infuriating.

Don’t waste your time. Couldn’t even get the first color to work. The fabric gets too Holy and makes it impossible to make it look like shown :( such a disappointment

Could never get the thread through the needle. Extremely cheap. I would not recommend purchasing this item.

This craft was very difficult to use. The stitches kept pulling loose, no matter how carefully I worked. Seemed to be either an issue with the fabric, or the yarn not moving easily through the tool.

These are cute and fun to do. I’d say it takes one night per coaster.

This craft does not work. The thread kept coming out of the material and we followed directions properly. A waste of money and time.
