10/10 good for plant propagation!
I got these for my spider plant babies to propagate and they are perfect! My spider plant had several little plants over the summer and I needed to find a bottle or jar to put them in so they weren’t just dangling (we have a very curious cat). These are the perfect size for these and there’s enough room for the roots to grow (1-2 inches) before potting them. I’ve saved the lids & shaker lids for when I gift these to people - once they pot their spider plants they can wash this and use it for their spice cabinet or whatever. These were also on sale for $2.00/each, which was a steal for the size & what I wanted to use them for. I had bought 5.

will the plastic piece fall off?
it’s great for the price. i bought two (salt & pepper) and so far it’s working fine. i’m still afraid that one day as im shaking the shakers, the plastic lid piece (where the salt and pepper comes out of) will fall off as it’s not much of a super snugged lid on the little jar.

Nice spice jar, just what I wanted, small holes in shaker top
I bought some of these specifically because I like the small holes in the shaker top. Most you find these days have huge holes in the shaker top, but those can be a problem with more finely ground blends. I enjoy making my own spice blends and keeping them in shaker top jars for quick and easy access when cooking. The square sides help these make good use of storage space, and I find them easier to hold on to than a plain round cylinder. The only complaint I have is that the little round shaker top doesn't seem to feel especially secure when it's attached. I haven't had one fall off yet, but they don't seem to snap to the top of the jar as securely the tops in my favorite jars.
