To expensive for no quality
the whole quality of Target is just is not the same. these pens I bought realized they're dated from 2023. of course they're going to work poorly their pens and colored markers have too long of a shelf life. this department is completely overpriced along with all other departments in the store are ridiculously overpriced and I think that's probably why all the time you have more clearance than you have regular clothing for sale.

Cheap quality
The edges of the tip of the pen, where the ball is located are not smooth enough. Therefore, when you use the gel pen, it makes the scratchy sound on the paper and you cannot use it at an angle. You have to push it at 90° on the surface of the paper. I think they are very cheaply made. The only positive is that the gel colors are pretty.
