[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am enjoying my new tornado pump. I have the 3100 gph model with a 33' cord which makes it so convenient. This pump can be used in or out of the water. It says that it is very energy efficient which is very important as I leave it on for long periods of time in my pond. It also has a ceramic impeller shaft that shouldn't rust and shorten its life. This little unit doesn't mess around when it comes to water transfer, not much waiting around when you turn this pump on to remove or just move water. I have a large pond and need to move the water constantly and so far this tornado is doing a great job.

I love that it has a long cord, so it will actually reach all the way to the house without the use of an extension cord. It seems to be well made and I anticipate that it will hold up well over time.

It is definitely more powerful and moves a lot more water than my previous one. I also like that the cord is long and does not require an extension as my previous pump. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who has a pond or any use for such a pump. I have had ponds and waterfall setups my whole adult life and this is by far the best pump I have tried. I am definitely satisfied.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this tornado PAC3100 pump to upgrade the existing pump in my outdoor pond. Rated at 3100 gallons per hour it is a real workhorse. It comes with a heavy gauge 33 foot three pronged cord so you get a lot of flexibility in where you set it up. It comes with a three year warranty which is pretty generous. The pump doesn’t need to be oiled so user maintenance should be minimal. Once installed the pump worked perfectly and was not terribly loud. The biggest question mark for me is the quality of the plastic housing. The cage is two plastic pieces which snap into the main body. The fit was tight but it took some doing to get both halves to seat properly. The hose adapter and fittings are hard plastic. The threading is a little rough and you can feel the difference compared to threads on metal fittings. So far so good and it is working well.

I had it running for a couple days in my garage to test it out as it is much too cold in Northeast Tennessee right now. I am super excited to build the full scale one next spring. It worked better than I imagined and will do just as well next year

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only had this pump for a short time but so far it has worked like a charm on my pond with a colorful fountain that the kids love to watch. The 33 foot cord makes setting the pump in the center of a pond quite easy to reach. It allows me to set the pump anywhere I want within the pond and has plenty enough power to shoot the water 4 to 5 feet above the water. I highly recommend this pump.
