Beautiful lamp; however, it is delicate and rather lightweight. I was concerned that it would be easily knocked off the side table. So, my husband fitted it with a friction-based interior wood base with a lead weight attached to it. He used clear caulking to attach the wood to the interior of the lamp. It looks good and is much more stable. If my husband hadn't had the skills to do this, I probably would have returned it as it just seems too delicate. (But it is beautiful).

It’s a very attractive table lamp but unfortunately it’s extremely top-heavy. I purchased this lamp and used it for about a month before I accidentally hit the shade and it fell over and broke.

The lamp is more attractive than pictured. You can see through it in spots, letting it pick up more color from the room. I would have given it 5 stars but where the base of the lamp stands on furniture, there is no padding and the base is rather rough which will cause the furniture to scratch.
Nice lamp, but the design ended up being different than I thought.

The lamp turned out to be a little different than I had it pictured. The design is a little 1980’s but it’s grown on me. Unfortunately I knocked it over about 10 minutes after putting it together and it cracked in half. So just in case this happens to someone else... use clear “gorilla” glue and let it set for a day or two... good as new. You can hardly even see the crack.
