[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This light duty Duct tape is perfect for home owners and light office duty for keeping things in order. This tape tears easily across the width of the tape (under 2") and is also easily torn along the length of the tape. No scissors or knife needed. And since this roll is somewhat smaller in length, the roll is easier to store around the house versus the bigger, heavy duty duct tape roll. I believe every homeowner could use this roll for basic home repairs and everyday lite repairs.

Smooth ends, easy to affix and does not unstick once put in place. It also is a really nice size roll of tape. I can telll I won’t be running out of tape anytime soon

Being a 3M product, I expected great performance and this duct tape did not disappoint. I have used other tapes prior where they worked for a while and then the adhesive weakened causing the tape to separate from the surface. Not this tape. The adhesive is strong and held right where it was placed. No peeling or anything after application. I will purchase 3M over other brands in the future.

Too narrow, thin, and flimsy. Did not work for the job. It could be fine, depending on it’s intended use.

The winds weakened my large patio umbrella and I needed to hold the tilt mechanism in place while I tightened the screw. The 3M duct tape held it perfectly. It was like l had an extra pair of hands. I have always heard that duck tape was a perfect addition to any tool box- I’m a believer now. I can’t wait to use it again on another project. I was gifted this product for my honest review- and boy am I glad I was. I highly recommend this 3M duct tape.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everyone needs duct tape in their life as it fixes “everything”, you can even make a wallet out of the stuff. Unfortunately, I am not that talented but I still continue to find many uses for duct tape. The fact that it is sticky and actually sticks to the item you are taping is my number one reason for using duct tape. I also appreciate that it can not be torn from the side as this gives it more protection. And I love the fact I can always find the end of the duct tape and do not struggle to find where to start to unroll the tape. This is your basic duct tape and it will do most things. So far I have used this to stop a rip in my vinyl car seat, have wrapped a gift when I was unable to locate transparent tape and actually did use this to tape the dryer vent to the outlet after cleaning it out! There are multiple uses and I will never be without a few rolls of duct tape on hand. It’s not just for ducts anymore!

The roll being only 30 yards means it is not too heavy to hold onto while using. The smooth texture helps to avoid the lumpy appearance some tapes have when used. I was shredding old tax returns when the shredder bin ripped the bag as I was emptying it. This tape saved me from a big mess!!

I have an old leather chair that I eventually need to redo, but for now, I decided to use some duct tape to repair the leather tears. It is holding up perfectly! When I use the chair, I do not get scratched from the tape; it feels like it is hardly there at all. I am very impressed with its quality and would highly recommend it to anyone, whatever their needs.

I was able to tear off pieces without scissors, which was so helpful to me. Also, The boxes just needed one strip as opposed to two with my old tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been looking for some duct tape to use at home for some projects I needed to do. 3M sent me a roll of duct tape to review and it is ideal for me to use. This duct tape is pliable and conforms to fit around objects. It tears easily so I don’t have to wrestle with a pair of scissors every time I use it. It was the prefect solution to attaching some padding to a metal bracket on my bed frame that I was catching my leg on when moving around the bed changing the linens or making the bed. I covered the metal bracket with foam pipe insulation but needed to tape it in place. The 3M Duct Tape was the perfect solution to my problem. I had to apply it while sitting on the floor to reach all the area that needed taping. It was so easy to tear the tape as it could tear horizontally and vertically. It was pliable so I could conform the tape to fit the direction and area I needed. I could easily tear the tape to make it fit perfectly without having to also handle a scissors while doing this project. I liked that the tape covered the entire area and no adhesive was exposed. I was pleased that it made a smooth surface covering all the metal and insulation so my bedding did not adhere or catch on anything. I like how easy it was to pull the tape off the roll. That made it ideal to pull out the amount of tape I needed for each section of my project.

On the two items I used it, it seemed to hold better on the plastic. On the cardboard boxes it let loose on the sides. This would be good when you needed a bit more flexibility in taping around irregular shapes or tighter spaces.

This is more of a lightweight tape which is great for light duty usage. I used it to help my grip on my plastic window squeegee. The handle was slippery when wet and rhe duct tape gave me a nice grip. Even after prolonged use the adhesive didn’t get sticky on me. This tape was very easy to tear. I would definitely recommend this duct tape for taping any tool handles or other handles that you want to get a better grip on.

I've used it to fix a dry hose leak, as well as by my hot water heater. The tape tears supers easily which is not always the case with duct tape. It's also super flexible with a variety of uses.

I like how it has many versatile uses, including indoors and outdoors. It seems to be very well made , and I like how it’s easy to tear off if the roll. I have used this to temporarily fix a hole in a tarp outside, and after three weeks the repair is holding up. The tape is strong and flexible.
