3M 1.88" x 30 Yards Utility Basic Duct Tape Gray

Too narrow, thin, and flimsy. Did not work for the job. It could be fine, depending on it’s intended use.

I've used it to fix a dry hose leak, as well as by my hot water heater. The tape tears supers easily which is not always the case with duct tape. It's also super flexible with a variety of uses.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great basic duct tape. I used it to hold a piece of pool noodle that I cut to size for my outdoor faucet. It is holding well under the weather. We’ve had some storms come through and it has not become weathered.

I like how it has many versatile uses, including indoors and outdoors. It seems to be very well made , and I like how it’s easy to tear off if the roll. I have used this to temporarily fix a hole in a tarp outside, and after three weeks the repair is holding up. The tape is strong and flexible.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this DuckTape & was surprised it’s for indoor use only. Who knew you couldn’t use it outside. Its suggested use was temporary for bundling cords. It is sticky/holds tight. Just not what I need

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great lightweight duct tape. It sticks well and stya put. Tears easily and when placed on boxes seals well. I used mainly on boxes to keep them together. This is a utility tape for using on lighter things.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They say that a good Duct Tape can fix anything and that it should be a staple in your home and well, I agree 100% with this statement! I use duct tape for pretty much anything. This 3M Basic Utility Duct Tape comes in clutch when installing the window unit AC for the warmer months. It's helped seal up any gaps between the window frame and the AC to keep out bugs and keep the cool air inside where it belongs. And as some people, I've used it for covering rips and tears in older office furniture. It's got great adhesive and hasn't lifted from the edges, especially with all of the movement and body heat on the chair. It cuts easily with a good pair of sharp scissors, no edge fraying or annoying uneven ripping from the roll. This will remain a staple in my home!

No household should be without it. It has many uses such s bundling cords, doing indoor repairs, taping boxes closed and even craft uses such as main a duct tape wallet. This is the good stuff. It is easy to unroll. It tears both horizontally and vertically easily. And it stays stuck where you put it. Don't waste your money on other brands.

No scissors are needed to tear the tape as it tears very easily horizontally or vertically. Ithe tape is very flexible and stretches to form a tight fit around objects.

Lots of people make it, but this one is made by 3M, industry experts in the field of adhesives. Holds pretty darn good, too! You can definitely find cheaper products out there, but if you want something you can trust, give this product a try. Just don't try to tape your duck with it! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good all-round duct style tape because it's so handy and flexible. It's handy because you can tear it by hand and don't need scissors. The only caveat is that it doesn't tear cleanly, please see photo. It is low on the 3M strength scale as indicated by their handy image of the flexed strong arm, but it still sticks really well! The body of the tape is thin, which not only makes it easy to tear, but allows it to conform to different shapes, as seen on the ceramic sculpture that was broken, and I'm using the tape to hold in place while I glue it back together. I recommend this general use tape.
