Costumes these days are not what they used to be, but this one is! I'm so impressed with the quality of the eye patch, and the hat. Generally eye patches fall apart and are either made of that hard cheap cut you plastic, or felt, not this one. It's the real deal facemask material that will actually hold up to wear! The hat is sturdy and has been worn, tossed, and swashbuckling away like intended. The vest fits my four year old and my seven year old quite nicely and again is also durable. I absolutely recommend this costume accessory pack for your little pirate!

My son is 7 and he did not care for this. He said the hat was uncomfortable and the vest was very cheaply made. He would not recommend this unless you just want it for at home dress up. The band for the eye patch is also pretty big but you may need to tie a know in it for it to fit your kid.

My son was so excited when we got this pirate costume kit! He's almost 5, and the vest and hat fit great- loose enough that it will fit for years but not too loose to slip off constantly. The eye patch was a little loose, but we'll be tying an extra knot in the elastic to help it fit better. We'll be using it for dress up and pretend play, and maybe Halloween too!

I was excited to get a pirate costume ahead of Halloween for my kids. This kit included the basic items of a vest, eye patch, and pirate hat. The material is lightweight and roomy enough to layer without feeling bulky.
