Great blocks!

My kids love these. They're fun the only downside is that in a pack of 40 blocks only 8 are the big red ones, 8 are the big blue ones, and 24 small yellow blocks. I would love the option to be able to buy just red blocks. We'd love more of those but I don't react to buy another package just to end up with only 8 red blocks and another 24 yellows. Still a great toy and glad we have them!

Many moons ago, when I was knee high to a grasshopper, my public library had a set of blocks very similar to these. I always, always, always had to play with them during our visits. They unlocked so much creativity and imagination within me. I tried looking for these blocks over the years out of pure nostalgia. I'm happy to find that Melissa & Doug make them! I recently bought a set for my 6yo daughter. I can not wait to see what she makes of these.

These blocks are awesome! While I realize that they are just fancy cardboard they are perfect. The colors are bright and vibrant and they are light and pretty easy to stack if assembled correctly. I do wish there were more of the larger blocks but overall it's been fun so that doesn't matter. If you have a child that loves to build or knock down things these are perfect! I almost want a second set to make bigger builds.
Not exactly what I expected

These blocks are not exactly what I expected. Easy to put together but since they are cardboard boxes they are not exactly flat when wanting to build with them. Positive: they are light weight so when they fall they don’t hurt anyone.

My 3.5 year old loves these blocks! He will build for hours which is saying alot bc his attention span is short. I didn't find they were complicated to put together. Probably took 30-45 minutes to put all of them together.

I bought these for my daughter four years ago and the her imagination soars when she plays with these. She has built forts, cities, singing stage, airports, castles, barns, bridges, etc. At 7 years old she is still playing with them and asking that I buy her more! Yes, after 4 years, they are still holding up!

We bought these blocks for our three children when they were about 5-7 years old. 15 years later, our fourth child (7 years old) is still playing with the blocks! He loves to build bridges, forts, walls, towers, and whatever else he can imagine...and he's asking for a second set. The only down side is storage for the blocks but we bought a large plastic bin and it works well enough. There is NO reason NOT to give your child these blocks and unlock their imagination!
You have to out them together, but worth it!

Whew! Putting each block together is a chore, but our 3 and 1.5 year olds have enjoyed building and knocking them down. The blocks are a little more substantial than what you would think, which is nice!

There are plenty of block for creative endeavors. My 6,4, and 1-1/2 year old grandchildren were able to enjoy sharing and building together. I think the building/stacking process is not only great fun, but develops good skills. The blocks arrived flat and were folded into block form easily. A Classic toy.

A little complicated to assemble initially but one you get the hang of it not too bad. Blocks are sturdy but not always straight/level as you would expect with folding cardboard. It would be nice to get another set to build taller forts, specifically for the bigger red ones.

He loves to drive his trucks into the walls that he makes with the blocks. He has also built a robot and a square that he can sit inside of. Lots of fun
