Q: Exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately, this is not wide enough to field a LCD tv and a sound bar. When manufacturing these things, this should have been taken into consideration, but it was not. SUCKS!!!!!

Love the look of this tv stand. I had it for under two years and it collapsed out of the blue, one day from only regular use only. The plastic connecting the legs cracked and one leg fell, pulling the whole piece down and ripping the other leg out, ruining the pressed wood. It is irreparable. I say, hey Christpher Knight, I expect a more sturdy design.

Nice Look, Heavy, Drawers Don’t Work

Drawers Are An Issue - 3 years ago, Verified purchaser
I had the same issues as several of the other reviewers; very complex assembly for a simple piece of furniture, and though I followed every step to the letter - the drawers either wouldn’t go all the way in, or are stuck in and will not open. Not a terrible deal for the price (and I too spent too much time/effort getting it built to feel taking it back is worthwhile) and I don’t really need the storage, so I’m keeping it, but buyer beware - this is very much a form over function piece and you’re getting just your money’s worth.

Holes not properly cut

Maybe I got a bad one, but the holes were poorly cut and I could not get all the sections to align. The quality of the piece itself is as expected, no issues with most of assembly, but I couldn’t get all the wooden dowels into the holes properly, nor did all the holes for the clamp screws work correctly.

Hard to put together

It´is cheap because it's too hard to put together. We spent an entire afternoon trying to assemble it, we follow the instructions exaclty as it shows, but and at the end the drawers doesn´t fit. We talked to the customer service for help, but in order to help us they charge you a fee.

I guess I brought this on myself by knowingly buying a cheap piece of furniture but I’m still really disappointed in this. The only reason it’s not going back is that I spent almost three hours putting it together. The top of it arrived totally scratched up and after I carefully removed a big sticker from on one of the shelves it pulled some color off leaving a very noticeable patch. As others have pointed out, the drawers are problematic as well. It looks tacky and cheap, but again, I guess that’s what I paid for.

What happened? This is torture! It’s cheap particle board and the clam bolts cut through the cheap surface the sooner you begin assemblage. Cheap is cheap and this sure is cheap. IT’S HUGE. Looks 5 feet long. I hate it. When I move out I will leave it behind! AHHHH! Go to a thrift store- better luck there.

Love the look - Drawer Doesnt Open

Love the look but the drawers are pretty shoddy. One side just won't open all the way, and we definitely installed it correctly as we did the exact same on the other side which opens perfectly. also, some of the pieces didn't have the right numbers/letters, it was a bit of picking up context clues with pictures with the instructions. Kind of a bummer to only get half the storage space but otherwise looks great! Oh also - be careful with where you put the sides with stickers, they ARE SO HARD to get off so if you can just have them hidden, that's the way to go.

I gave one start because I can't use this item for the very reason I purchased it. I purchased the "wenge" color and everything looks great, except I was sent the wrong parts and I can't put the drawers together. I can't find any way to contact the manufacturer to request new parts, but the back of both drawers is missing. I needed them for my kids' room to give them a place to store their electronics so they wouldn't go missing, and now I can't do that.

The table is somewhat heavy despite not being solid wood. It was delivered earlier than expected. When I ordered, I was worried about 2 things from the reviews: 1) there were no instructions and 2)the drawers won't fit. Both turn out to be false. The box actually has 2 papers (on each side depending from where you open it) that say look for all hardware and instructions in the box. At first sight it looks like no instructions and a lot of pieces, but just lift the starefoam and there they are! Easy to put together, easy to follow instructions with pictures. About the drawers, the rails you need to screw in are shorter than the length of the drawer, just make sure you align them to the front part and the drawers will fit perfectly when placed in the table. Those who didn't get the drawers to fit properly need to move the rails and it will fix the problem. Great looking table for the price, would recommended.

This product is exactly what I needed. We bought it for our tv in our bedroom, but liked it so much we put it in our living room. There’s isn’t much storage but it’s functional and like how mod it looks. It is particle wood, but for the price it’s great. It was easy to build and I have had no issues with it.

Like another reviewer wrote the drawers fall short of completely closing into the console and it looks terrible and tacky. Ive resorted to taking the drawer liners off completely and just tucking them in but it doesn't look like a fully finished piece. This is a clear design flaw that should be fixed.

I really like this in my space it looks great and I really like the style and height. My complaint is that the drawers don't fully recede back inside of the center they instead sit just outside. This could be my mistake but I read the directions.

The color and style is cute. The quality is not good at all. The instructions are a bit confusing. I put the stand together and the legs immediately broke. I did not have a good experience with this piece.

I love the style of this little stand. I use it to put my snake terrarium on in my home office. It seems sturdy enough so far. I was lucky to get it on sale as I likely would not have purchased at 100.00 or more price mark. The instructions were pretty clear and this was easy to put together, but it was extremely time consuming for 1 person. Giving 4 stars because placement of the slider rails for the drawers was not easily determined and this took me 5 hours to put together by myself. Overall I am pleased with the finished product and it looks great with the rest of my office furniture.

I chose this TV stand because it looked unique (in the sense it was retro) and minimal (which makes it look sleek). I think the price was a bit too much. It would have been nice to pay for under $100 considering how minimal it is. Also, I am not entirely sure on the quality of the piece, meaning is it sturdy enough? I just finished assembling, and have not had enough time to see if it won't wobble (cause of the legs) and send my TV flying backwards. It is firm to the touch -so that's good. Speaking of assembly, this was not hard at all, except it does take a while! Like an hour with the help of someone. Just don't be overwhelmed by the instruction sheet, cause it's actually easy to follow. Also, it shipped fast.

The tv stand arrived about 2 days early and it was just what I was looking for!! I assembled by myself in under an hour even with putting the draw slides on incorrectly. The directions were easy to follow. It is very lightweight and easy to move. The drawers are pretty shallow but I didn’t plan on storing much in there anyways. Overall, great purchase!!
