A: Our 4moms® team is constantly evaluating and updating our products based on the feedback such as yours. As it relates to the current model MamaRoo® Multi-Motion Baby Swing® (1046), we are phasing out the shoulder pads for all seat fabric colors but will continue to include the crotch pad. While the shoulder pads can provide some comfort, they are not necessary and can sometimes restrict natural movement.

A: The MamaRoo® Multi-Motion Baby Swing does not come with a newborn insert since it is not required for use. You may choose to purchase a newborn insert because it does provide extra support for the baby. There is no age or size limit for use, so it can be used from birth until the baby no longer prefers it.

A: Yes, we recommend washing it in cold water on the gentle cycle. Do not use bleach. Tumble dry separately on low heat and remove promptly from dryer.

We had this 9 years ago but surprise, we needed another. This one literally cracked installing the arms. The plastic is so cheap, it could withstand assembly. That’s terrifying if it’s going to hold my child. Will return.

-the buttons on this newer version SUCK. what was wrong with previous buttons? these "buttons" have horrible sensitivy so you have to press them mult times and then theres a delay. -the sounds it plays is LEGIT baby club music...how is that supposed to calm my baby down? -all you had to do was add the 5 point harness..i purposely bought the older version second hand for my baby -sincerely mom, pedi, nicu and picu nurse

My baby is now 2 months old and I after spending $200+ I really wanted to like it, but my baby hates it, she will only spend about 5 minutes at a time if that at all. Honestly, it’s not up to par for the money you spend. The quality is fine, and it’s easy to build. But the overall design kinda sucks. The toys up top don’t spin, so you have to sit there and spin them yourself and none of the settings even truly swing. The Bluetooth setting is cool but I’m going to check on my baby anyways and she’s never been happy or occupied long enough it in, that I’ve needed to use the app to change the music or setting. It does have 5 of settings of movements and speeds but the last two speeds on it are way too fast in my opinion and even as she gets older I can’t imagine using them. I’m going to be purchasing something else, don’t waste your money.

I was hoping for more bedtime sounds to help get to sleep for nap time, however, when try to connect with Bluetooth to play different sounds from playlists, it does not stay connected and times out. Multiple customers have reported this and it’s all over YouTube, just be aware of looking for additional sound noises to assist your little one in sleeping with nap time

Since it is neither a flat surface (there is always a slight recline) or a firm surface, as recommended by pediatricians, it is not safe for any type of sleep. If your baby falls asleep while in the MamaRoo Swing, we recommend moving them to a firm, flat sleeping surface like a bassinet, playard or crib. I purchased this for my soon-to-be-born granddaughter. My daughter-in-law is a NICU nurse and added this to their registry as she loves how nice is it for the babies in her unit. I had them assemble it before the baby shower and ‘test’ it since their baby won’t be born until after the one month return period. It seems to be a wonderful swing.

We purchased due to the hospital recomending. After 4 weeks, the device stopped working, giving an error on the display. After activating, the swing would immediatley stop and start to flash Red. Customer service offered to replace, as it is a know defect, but I noticed cracking plastic and hinges when disassembling. The craftsmanship is of poor quality, the mechanics subpar. I refunded at Target and purchaswed a lesser espensive Graco that my infant actually seems to like better. This brand is all hype and marketing, with nothing to show for it. Will not buy or recommend.

The product did not work for long. Mamaroo won’t get back to me and the product is out of warranty. We purchased 2 years ago, my son used it maybe 15-20 times max and he did not like it. We saved it for our next child, stored it properly inside the home, used it 3 times and now it will not work. $200 product should not just stop working like the way this one did. When it worked it was fine but it just stopped working. DO NOT BUY.

WARNING! **The MamaRoos are a disaster waiting to happen!** Countless moms have experienced them breaking, and unfortunately, mine did *immediately*. To make matters worse, their customer service is nothing short of *abysmal*. They flat-out refused to honor the warranty, even though I had the original packaging and it was brand new. The treatment I received was shockingly rude — when I simply asked for a repair (not even a refund!), they coldly told me, **"We can't make everyone happy."** This company is an absolute joke. They clearly don’t care about their customers or standing by their products. I will *never* purchase from them again. **Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this brand.**
