Colors have changed
Very pretty, but the colors have changed since they first started making these. We've had a set of these for 4-5 years and decided to buy some more. The new ones are a lot lighter gray with more marbling and they even feel different, like they've swapped the material. The original ones were very dark and the tops were slick. We love our original ones and were hoping for more! I'm sad they don't match.

Doesnt soak up water
These are super nice coasters. Sturdy, well made, very nice to look at, beautiful and decorative. But the water just sits on top of the coaster and if there is too much it rolls onto the furniture you are trying to protect anyway. I assumed they soaked up the moisture like my other coasters do but I guess thats not part of the 'description'. To me its a little pointless if they dont soak the moisture to prevent furniture damage.
