Excellent rice dish!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product complimentary for my honest opinion. I received this product complimentary from Influenster for my honest opinion. Cooking the 4 sisters Chelsea cheese rice was very easy. When venting the packaging for cooking the aroma already began filling the air. The aroma does not smell appealing or like any cheese I have ever smelt/tasted. I can't even say what it tastes like as I have never tasted anything like it. My son said the same and refused to eat more than 1 bite. I don't think my family will be trying any other products from this brand after this experience. I'm glad we decided to taste this product before it was fully encorporated into a meal.

A big miss
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We unfortunately really did not like this product— we had the cheddar and the texture was definitely dry and gummy. It was also somehow bland. In an attempt to make it more palatable, I added salt, butter and nutritional yeast (to increase the cheesiness). My kid turned his face up at it after one bite— my husband described it as “high college food”. This was unfortunately a miss.

The smell was honestly awful but for some reason it didn’t taste bad or smell bad once you put it right to your nose. It had a slightly different after taste but again it was bad. Smelled bad, no flavor

Quick & easy to prepare, flavor meh

My kids ate it but one child kept commenting on the weird smell of the rice. She wasn't wrong. It was rather off-putting. The pouch was easy to cook and serve and so this would be a great meal idea in a pinch. I just think the flavor needs improvement.

Mild taste
