I'm not sure where all the great reviews are coming from. Upon opening the pkg, I discovered the pins are made from flimsy soft wood and the metal spring is weak. The spring is already showing indications of slipping off the wood. There is no way this would hold 5 pounds (per Q&A). I laid them next to some older pins I have and just no comparison. Total waste of a purchase.
