I ordered an item that was fulfilled by Garvee clearly advertised at a certain price on Target’s website. After receiving confirmation, a tracking number AND having the funds taken from my account, the order was canceled the next day — because Target claimed there was a pricing error by the “Target Plus Partner” fulfilling the order. Instead of honoring the price or offering a reasonable alternative, they simply canceled the order and walked away, WITHOUT refunding my money until I called to inquire about the whereabouts of my item two weeks later. The lack of accountability and unwillingness to make things right is unacceptable. They state that, “Target expects these third-party sellers to uphold the same level of quality and customer service that customers expect from Target. This includes factors like product quality, shipping, and returns”, but this was clearly not the case. Stay away from Garvee and their deceptive practices and beware that Target does not hold these “partners” to any customer service standards. Mistakes happen, but how a company handles them speaks volumes. In this case, Target and their partnering company chose not to stand behind their own listing or make it right for the customer. I expected better.
