Pull chain for easy control over the fan and light. Manual reverse switch is on the fan housing.

No 2nd hole in glass shade to access and change fan speed

Love the fan but does not have second hole in glass shade to accommodate fan chain. Lamps plus shipped me 2 more shades identical which took total of a year clearly not understanding I needed 2nd hole in glass. If your fine with one fan speed and inability to change fan speed unless you climb on ladder and turn fan off so your hand does not get chopped off then it's fine. I like to change fan speed without this kind of production.
