It was a hassle putting up but man is was it worth it! I love the look and the functions. I bought the wall control and that really made this amazing. A few tips will make it easier for install. Put together the entire unit prior to hanging. This includes the blades, drop rod (if you have it) light and light cover. If you install on a vaulted ceiling do not use the ring cover, it will not fit. I just left it on mine sitting at the bottom of the rod. You can see it in the photo. My first receiver and remote did not work but customer service was amazing. After a little patience and a frustrating install, I am very happy with my purchase and absolutely in love with this fan! I love the one button fan blade reverse mode. Dim function could use some work.

OMG I love this smart fan! I can control the light and fan using the Bond app which you download on your phone. Or you can use the remote which comes with the fan. I also use Alexa to turn on the light. So much fun! Also it was a breeze to link the fan to the app. I also love that the fan automatically adjusts to either winter or summer mode. Well done Minka Aire! I want to switch all my fans out for a Minka Aire smart fan.

This fan worked perfect for what we needed. Sleek and modern. Also needed a sloped ceiling fan so we bought a longer extension rod and sloped ceiling adapter from the same company and they matched perfectly and worked.
Works for older house outdoor lamppost very well.
