54" Minka Aire Java Polished Nickel Ceiling Fan

Just installed today. It looks good and seems to run well moving air nicely.

Works well! I installed this fan in a covered patio area. It has 3 speeds, and reverses direction with the switch on the housing. Installation instructions were clear. Operates without wobble or movement. The remote function operates well also. I may have preferred a little faster speed on the highest speed however…

They do not work well at all. Hardly move air at all sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t. Awful

It doesn’t turn as fast as most fans. So the fastest speed may seem like it’s on medium. I did learn that the motor will last longer and built better than the average fan motor. We preferred durability, so this was the perfect fan for us.

Installed 2 fans in 2017 and they have run almost continuously since without any problems. The lowest speed moves the air without the usual “hurricane “ you get from most other fans. We really like them. Just what we needed for “off grid living.

This ceiling fan specification states that it is rated for outdoor/damp location; yet the "Brushed Nickel" finish rusted through on the metal housings in less than 2 years. If i had known that the finish wasn't rated for outdoors, i would have never purchased these.

We had trouble with this fan since the initial installation. It does not provide much air flow. It stopped working after 1 1/2 years requiring a new interior motor. I called Minka and the tech said that some fans stop working just like a car engine.

The fans look high quality and are quiet. We installed 3 fans in our garage which we use as a home gym. They don't move a lot of air on the highest setting, but I still would recommend them if you're looking for quality and style. If you need a serious wind blast you might want to choose a different fan. It's convenient that we can use one remote to control all three.

Very nice looking and operating fan. Installation is similar to all other ceiling fans I have installed. Nice fit and finish. Only feature I DON'T like is the reverse switch is on the fan motor body - not available on the remote. So one has to get a ladder to reverse the fan.

I installed two MinkaAir Roto fans in the kitchen / dining room area of my house. I used 24" extensions due to the high ceilings. The fans are very quiet and move a lot of air. Even at high speed there is zero wobble or movement other than the fan blades. They run at low speed most of the time. The air movement noticeably helps even out temperatures in the house. MinkaAire makes quality fans.

We installed this fan in May of 2014 and used for a few months. Not use all winter. Once spring came we started using again. After just 2 months, it has stopped working. The maker sent us parts but nothing has worked and they have stopped responding to us. So after not even 1.5 years we are having to purchase a new fan and pay once again to have it installed.

This fan is exactly what we wanted for our beach house. It is in an open space and looks great. It was easy to install and has clean lines. Although the blades are a composite, they look like metal, which we like. It arrived promptly and was well packed. For the cost it was an excellent buy.

I bought this fan to replace an old outdated ceiling fan that was hanging in my family room. It arrived quickly and in perfect condition. It looks really cool, is modern, elegant, and sleek! It's just the look I was hoping for. Great buy at a good price!!

I purchased 2 of the kocoa colored fans to use in my new patio. I love the contemporary design and they are beautiful. The fans arrived sooner than expected which was great because I was going on vacation and needed them delivered before I left. The only problem I had was that the light kits that were recommended on the site could not be used, according to the electrician, there was no light wire to connect them to.
