  • A: Most of these weighted blankets - I’ve got several, but not this particular brand - *are* technically machine-washable and come with instructions for that, but would be so HEAVY when soaked in water that they would be likely to damage a home washing machine, which is why a washable cover is so useful. But if for some reason you really needed to get one cleaned, you could probably take it to a local laundromat and use one of their big heavy-duty front-loader washing machines...or before you buy, ask your local dry-cleaner(s) If they’d be willing/able to do it for you.

Q: We live in Hawaii and it can get quite warm. If I remove the cover in warmer weather will it be a little cooler while still providing good weight for sound sleep? I’m not sure whether the blanket is designed to be used without the cover. Mahalo!

Q: Is the weighted blanket itself WHITE? Because I see the cover choices, but I also see the blanket itself looks like it's a white or cream color. That would be hard to keep spot-cleaning even with a cover.

    Quality of sleep is improved!

    I loved it but it wasn't heavy enough for me 🥲

    I absolutely loved this blanket when I first got it. I laid it across my twin sized bed and tried it out. I found that it wasn't heavy enough for me. When I returned it to the store, they were out of stock in the heavier weights company wide 🥲. I ended up getting a 20lb tranquility weighted blanket and it's nowhere near as nice. TARGET, please make more 18 lb versions of this threshold blanket!!!

    Snags and holes in cover

    The weight of the blanket and the plush cover are both super comfortable, but the quality of the cover is very poor. I’ve only had the blanket for a couple months, and the cover already has several snags and holes in it. For the price of this blanket, I would look to purchase elsewhere.

    I'd purchase again.

    Worth the money, even distribution of weight, not a cheaply made product. Luxurious, plush, quality weighted blanket and cover. I just wish Target sold separate covers so that I could have some variety. This cover will be going to the cleaners, alot. My sleep numbers have increased significantly and consistently in the few days that I've used this weighted blanket.

    Sleep Tight

    So far so good! I deal with insomnia, and always looking to get something to help me doze off. This hasn’t completely solved the problem, but it definitely has helped. I feel warm, cozy, and definitely a little more relaxed when getting into bed. I believe my sleep is a little more solid as well.😴 I originally wanted to buy the Sealy, but it wasn’t available in stores. I like this one because the measurements are larger than the Sealy, and contains glass beads just like the Sealy. I see no reason to return this one.
