Jean Slipcover Dining Banquette

I bought and changed my mind 2 hours later. Apparently that’s too late to cancel the order. But it won’t be here for 2 months!!!

I waited a few months to write this review and I’m ready to let the honesty rip and I’m ready to throw this thing in a dumpster. This is without a doubt the most uncomfortable piece of furniture I own, and I have nothing against target pieces, I have many of them that I actually like. This came in 2 pieces- the bench seat and the back which has the two legs already attached, and then the 2 other legs that attach to the from of the bench seat. There’s small padding over the bench seat, but the bench seat is so short, it’s the most uncomfortable part. You can’t get comfortable no matter how you try to sit. And the cover is polyester and almost rough textured? The design is printed on and it wrinkles easily and is very hard to clean. Again, uncomfortable. I got this on sale when it was $400 and I still don’t think it’s worth it. By all means do not invest in this piece or the bigger set, put your money into a more comfortable piece that will last longer.

I was almost swayed not to buy this by other negative reviews. The pattern is cute and matched the photos online. It was easy to assemble and the slip covers make it ideal for kids/messy eaters, I just spot clean with a stain spray and water.

I was almost discouraged from buying these piece due to the other negative reviews, but I just want to tell anyone who is feeling uncertain to take the chance! Well constructed, slip covers are great for kids/messy eaters and it was easy to assemble. (Color: Linen pinstripe)

Extremely easy to do bolts. looks beautiful, a little firm, hopefully it will break in. All parts received and once again very easy to attach legs.

Got it on sale for about $400. I've been looking for a 5-foot banquette for a while. Just didn't want to spend $1000 for one. A little wiggly but seems sturdy against a wall. Might be better if I had better tools to tighten the back to the base. Unlike other reviews, mine had all the pieces needed to put it together. Nothing was missing. I'm a 5 foot female and was able to put it together myself. Seat cushion is comfortable and perfect for seating 2 or 3 kids.

The bench itself and the upholstery construction are great. No complaints there. The slipcover fabric though is really bad. I couldn't get past it. Then I saw the slipcover composition is 80% polyester. No wonder lol. The fabric looks shiny and the color and pattern are printed, not dyed. Ick! I will be returning it immediately. A canvas or cotton slipcover would have made this piece a hit.

Not sure how this is getting such bad reviews. Mine came with all of the hardware and parts, thank goodness. The top is tight to attach to the bottom (as other reviews stated) so you will need to put some pressure at the top while putting the screws in. My husband and I put this together in less than 5 mins. Please make sure you have your own set of tools and don’t rely on the little tiny one they give as it will be pretty difficult to get all the bolts tight. It’s beautiful and just as described. Sturdy and comfortable. I got it on sale for $400 and it was well worth the price. 9/10 —because I had to wait 6 weeks for it to be delivered. Otherwise super happy with this purchase!

Horrible quality for how expensive this item is. Mine arrive with all of the bolts and their holes stripped. The item couldn’t even be built.

Protect your peace. Do not buy this! The first time I ordered it, it took a month to arrive… without legs. The second time I ordered it, all the pieces arrived but my husband and I cannot get the screws to catch no matter what we do. We’ve been trying for an hour and we have put together a lot of furniture in our life. I’m ready to smash this bench in a million pieces. I hate assembling it with the fire of a thousand suns. It sucks.

After a long awaited delivery, multiple hardware pieces were missing. Target assisted in re-shipping the missing hardware; however, once put together, the piece was very flimsy and cheap. I returned the item.

Bought to use as a dining bench for my family with young kids and the slipcover is not machine washable?! Makes investing in this product quite a waste and not practical

Ordered Driftwood Color - it’s gray. Waiting for a refund. Sucks because I was really excited about this product. Hoping they sent the wrong color & driftwood color really is brown lol.

Obviously this has been returned. The whole inside of the package had weird FedEx bags in it where all items had been opened and possibly used but the outside looked untouched. I don’t have a problem with returned items but we were missing half the hardware to put it together so my husband had to go to Lowe’s to find proper screws. And this is after waiting 6 weeks for delivery! To pay this much for an item and have this all happen is unacceptable.
