Look—Expected variation in wood. Color was lighter than photos, and there was a dark orange splotch on mine. I considered returning it. Quality—There was a Threshold price sticker that left residue. Since it was on the underside, I didn’t get too upset. Product is a nice weight and smooth finish, easy to wipe. I placed a glass coffee carafe on it just like in the promotional product photos. The carafe can easily slide so I don’t know about the utility of that. Would buy again, but not at full price.

I recommend scrolling through review images for a better idea of what these look like. They are natural wood with a light stain, so no two are identical (which I love). I almost didn't purchase because of the way they appear in the listing. For style reference, I prefer Acacia, but for some reason Target's design team had those all painted black. (Why paint over natural wood?) These are a reasonable substitute and I'm glad I took a chance :)
