I'd been using air mattresses since the day I moved into my apartment eight months earlier. My shoulders ached, my back was sore - so I had to make a move. I found this little gem, in-stock, at the Target right across the street. Bought it, slung it over my shoulder, and walked it home. I opened the packaging and "let it expand," as per the directions. But after an hour it looked fine to me. So I put it on top of a twin air mattress, threw a mattress topper on it, and had the best night's sleep I'd had since the day I moved in. This mattress is absolutely wonderful. Some advice: It didn't work well when laid directly on the floor - I bottomed out. It needs a base of support. But by putting the cheap, twin air mattress underneath it - wow! - it gives me incredible support and it more than gets the job done. I highly recommend this mattress. Don't think about it - just get it!

I have used this as a normal every day bed at 200 lbs. I have flipped the mattress every 2 weeks and it already has sunken in at the middle. It was fine the first couple of months but after about month 4, I started to notice a difference in how it felt and how I slept. I could see how this could work for short term stays but after 8 months I can say long term, this mattress was not a good option for me.

The twin size mattress comes rolled up in a box. When it arrived the box was not heavy and I could carry it up one short flight of stairs with one hand. For 6 inch thick twin mattress it’s pretty comfortable but I would suggest getting a mattress topper for extra back support if needed.
