  • A: Thank you for your question. The Newcastle slim are a bit more of a deeper green. With 980 total tips. The Pencil Fraser Fir tree is a more vibrant green with 1188 total tips.

Q: What replacement bulb do you use? I cant find the right one. I have to use the existing base and replace each bulb individually becsuse it is not long enough. I dont want to throw the tree away.

You will need to plug in the lights for each section once the tree has been assembled and then shape the tree tips. This is a very nice tree but A LOT of the bulbs burn out every year. I am unable to find a match so I ended up having to painstakingly remove and replace each glass bulb individually from the plastic bulb base. It is a lot of bulbs to replace every year. You go cross eyed trying to see and feed the thin copper wire through the slits. This year that didn't work and the string keeps burning out. We are going to have to go back to an unprelit tree. I only had this tree 3 years. A waste of money without relplacement bulbs
