    This bookcase is really well made.

    Didn't have to make adjustments so parts would fit. Instructions were clear.Looks super in my living room with my collection of Louis L'amour hardback books. I assembled in my living room in about 2 hrs.

    Defective part

    One of the shelves are defective. It is missing a cut so that the shelf slides together. Without this shelf the whole thing looks silly and cheap. It had not been easy to order the part needed. Help much needed.

    Functional Product but Far from Great

    We are using several of these bookcases to set up a library reading room in our home. The product has good flexibility by virtue of its adjustable shelves. It exceeds eighty pounds and, thus, requires two persons to set it up. Particle board construction makes the bookcases fragile during construction and the laminated surface comes apart easily.

    This is a great looking and very solid Bookcase!! Easy to assemble. I did have an issue while assembling 1 of the 2 bookcases we ordered. A couple of parts were damaged during assembly which was my fault. I got on the Sauder web site and chatted with Bret. He quickly had replacement parts shipped to me no charge!! What a great company!!!

    Good Product

    Appearance of product is appealing and elegant. Looks stronger than it actually is and the middle section can use a reinforcement in design. Purchased two units, the first I put together with no issue; the second put together the same way as the first, but when standing the second product up in collapsed.

    Nice product but hard to assemble

    Nice product but it was kind of difficult to put together for the average person. I didn't want to spend extra money to hire a handyman either. Once it was done, it was very attractive and sturdy.

    Assembly is absolutely horrible

    Received this as Christmas present. While the bookshelf is really nice fully assembled assembling it was hard as all the hardware was mixed together and none of the trim was labeled.
