Cute shelf. My sense is it works for home, apt, or dorm. Pretty versatile. We have books, booze, and decor on it. Quality is good, except my boyfriend screwed in one of the screws too tightly and split the wood. I'm suspicious it was because of his strength because he has no muscles. Maybe it was th...see moreof the reviewer's review

I needed to replace my cheap shelves I've had for years but didn't want to spend a whole lot of money. These were perfect. I did end up painting the shelves dark brown to match my existing furniture. They are pretty sturdy and have a lot of shelf space.

These shelves look great and are easy to assemble. The instructions though aren't super clear and you can easily put the sides on backwards, which will cause a small gap between the sides and wood shelf. It's easy to swap back though. Also we received one shelf damaged with dents. I blame this on po...see moreof the reviewer's review

This bookshelf was exactly what my space needed. I was weary as I read earlier reviews, regarding missing and incorrectly drilled holes, but I had not even a single issue. I put it together by myself in under 30 minutes (after reviewing the instructions carefully - which I rarely do). It's sturdy, a...see moreof the reviewer's review

I’m disappointed that after waiting a week for the bookshelf and spending $100 that the particle board started to break putting the shelves together as shown in my photos.see moreof the reviewer's review

I can corroborate the earlier review by user "Fidelio" titled "Know Your Own Strength" because the shelves are indeed very low quality. The shelves are simply an oak veneer around flimsy particle board. The bolts screw into threaded inserts which are only held in place by the particle board. This me...see moreof the reviewer's review

As others have posted the shelves had been damaged prior to wrapping. I also thought the picture was misleading. If it was meant to be a ladder bookcase, shouldn't the bottom shelves have been wider than the top? As for styling, it was a tad above the metal shelving units that some would put in thei...see moreof the reviewer's review

I bought two of them. When I was assembling one of them one of the screws did go all the way. I called target but because I assembled 92 days after I purchased, they gave me 10% gift card, but I had to keep the broken product.see moreof the reviewer's review
