This glass water/beverage dispenser seemed to be exactly what I was looking for, but unfortunately, as was reported by others, water has leaked at the point where the spigot meets the tank from the very beginning. Turning the entire spigot sideways when not in use sometimes stops the leak, but the only surefire solution is to keep water levels in the tank below the spigot and tip the tank when you need water. Not ideal.

Worst dispenser ever, dissappointing 1 hour after buying
Hello! If you are like me and spent hours researching for the PERFECT beverage dispenser and thought this Anchor Hocking dispenser was it…. I can relate to your disappointment and frustration by this awful piece of glass. I was disappointed it arrived the day before since I threw it in the wash, prepared my colorful fruit spread to place inside the water all to find out THE SPIGOT DOES NOT WORK nor does it fit onto this device and the best part is, no instructions. The disappointment was massive and it caused unnecessary stress for me :( FYI this photo was from 1 hours ago after purchasing

Leaky spout, but fixable
although beautiful there is a decent gap between the glass and the rubber fitting that allows a constant flow of water to stream out of. The spout is flimsy plastic and also leaks due to gaps between it and the rubber fitting. I was able to fix both issues with a little Plumbers Tape bought for less than $2 at a nearby hardware store, but I'm nervous about cleaning this due to the shoddy spout.

I do love the size & style of this container and the fact that it's not plastic, however it leaks. I have tried to tighten the spout many times but it will not stop leaking. We still use it since it only seems to leak a few drops at a time. We just leave an empty jar below the spout to catch the drippage.
