Q: Received the LED Sting Lights today, 12/3/2021 and there is no battery mechanism to input batteries - just a USB that is attached to the lights. Was the product supposed to come with a case to insert batteries?

Lights were bright when tested. I also liked the fact that I could use batteries or a usb plug. Unfortunately my cat chewed the one of the wire on the end, right after they were put around my window, making them completely unusable. I had only bought them 1hr prior. Very frustrating to say the least. A total waste of $10.

Worked great for the first year and now they don’t work anymore. Changed the batteries and everything. If I press any color button it’s red, and when I changed the batteries each button has three separate colors on the string at once. Works well for short term use but not for long term :(

I bought these in September and they broke mid November. They are lightweight but may play into how fragile they are. I love how they look in my apartment, however I wish they would’ve lasted longer.

The box as well as the online description says that there is a timer but it does not have one, just an on/off switch. It also takes three AA batteries, which seems like a lot especially compared to a $5 one Target sold over the holidays that required only two batteries and included a timer! However, I like the amount of lights there are for the length.
