If I could rate this a zero I would. Gross! Worst thing I've ever tasted! I'm not a negative person but this is bad.

It’s sickeningly sweet chocolate syrup taste overpowers anything else. I drank half a can and dumped the rest and gave away the other 11. Not worth it.

They should have just called it vintage chocolate soda. Don't expect a root beer or cream soda flavor or even vanilla. These are much better cold and with cream in it. I won't ever buy it again. I don't like the fake chocolate flavor.

I was excited for months to try this. Target was the first place in the St. Louis area to get it. I think a lot of people (including myself before I tried it) expected this to be root beer with an ice cream sundae taste added. That isn't the case. This soda isn't root beer (which makes the complaint about the root beer taste even stranger). It's exactly what it says it is. It's a soda that tastes like an ice cream sundae. Three things stand out to me: 1. It's definitely better cold. I don't have any at the moment, but I would imagine this would be fantastic in a frosted mug. 2. The chocolate is unmistakable, but it's not overpowering. It even smells like chocolate, specifically like hot fudge. So you get a nice whiff of that as you're taking a sip. 3. It is really, really smooth! As you can see, I'm a big fan. If this is going to only be around for the rest of the summer, I'll be stocking up!

Like old time chocolate soda from the corner soda shop. I found this delightful and refreshing... not overly sweet. Nothing else quite like it. I can't wait to have a glass with a dollop of ice cream. Well definitely buy again.

I wanted to like it. It lacked vanilla flavor, and the chocolate after taste was chalky. Really didnt taste like rootbeer either. Im calling it chocolate soda, haha. Im going to try adding creamer or cream soda and see if it helps.
