About the Author

Kim Painter Chesney grew up in a house trailer with six siblings and one neighbor, so what did she do for fun? She read--A LOT. Taught to read by her older brother when she was just four, Kim quickly discovered that books were the best way to explore the world beyond her field. Now, as a children's book author, she channels that childhood love of reading and adventure into stories for all ages. Her debut book, featuring the dynamic duo Kat
and Ollie, celebrates the magic of literacy and is sure to bring a smile to readers from every generation.

Anna is a professional illustrator from Atlanta Ga. She studied at SCAD Atlanta and currently specializes in childrens books and merchandise design.
