About the Author

Kristine Samuell started her baking adventures at her mother's elbow, peering in wonder at her gingerbread masterpieces. Many bags of flour later, Kristine still loves to create houses for holidays, special occasions, and charity auctions. Kristine lives in Texas with her husband and two children, all of whom wished to title the book, "Don't eat that! It's for the gingerbread house."
