[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t know why but this shelf ladder was so heavy to me but it means it’s durable and can’t be easily moved. I love how it brings life to our hallway. It is not really gray to me but still a nice color. So easy to decorate with books, trinket trays, frames and Lego!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly this is so amazing and wasn’t to bad to put together. The only downfall was my son kept climbing on it (he’s a toddler) so I had to move it to my mom’s house. It is so cute.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the London Five Shelf Ladder Bookshelf as a courtesy to test and review. I was surprised by the weight of this bookcase, it is much heavier than I expected but that also makes me happy because I know it’s made with wood rather than press board. The bookcase was easy to construct, however I do wish there was a better bracketing system to connect the top portion to the bottom rather than dowels, glue and two screws. I am happy however that they include a safety bracket to secure the bookcase to the wall. The gray color of the bookshelf is great as it fits great in many different rooms. My tween daughter enjoys this bookshelf very much as she has been requesting shelves to store her prized possessions. She would highly recommend!

I’m using it to display some of my houseplants. It fits the aesthetic perfectly! The shelf was relatively easy to put together, as the directions were pretty simple. The shelf seems to be of good quality, as it’s solid and quite heavy. The paint color is a nice cool neutral shade. I did notice one small ding in the paint. It’s not a big deal, since it’s in an inconspicuous place. Overall, this is a really fantastic piece! If you’re looking for a stylish, yet sturdy, shelf, this one is definitely worth looking into.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Linon ladder bookcase two weeks ago. My brother put it together for me. No extra tools needed. It was bigger than I thought so I told him to keep it in two pieces. I put the top in my living room and was going to put the bottom in my storage closet. It is really to big for my small apartment, so, I offered it my brother and his wife jumped at the chance. She is going to use it to display some of her antiques.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Linon Espresso Wood Ladder Bookshelf is so visually appealing, the espresso colored wood is very nice and it has an expensive quality look to it! The height is seventy two inches so a tall shelf that can handle books, plants or whatever you like! I really like this bookshelf and will place it in my living room for everyone to see!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really nice shelf. It was super easy to assemble. It feels sturdy but is still pretty light. It does include a wall anchor. It’s a lovely color and a great addition to my room. The lower shelves are deep enough to hold storage cubes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bookshelf was easy to assemble and the pieces were all there. It did need to be cleaned after it was put together but that wasn’t really a big deal. It looks great now that it’s set up and it’s definitely a sturdy bookshelf.

Was expecting a darker color, its has more of a reder than brown tint. It was a little flimsy so best for someone without small kids. Its nice and was easy to put together.

The price is absolutely ridiculous for the quality. This is incredible hard to assemble and very rickety. The top half and bottom half of the shelf are attached by wood glue and wooden pegs. Not sturdy at all and the price has gone up by $70 since September!

I ordered two of these bookshelves in the Espresso color. After opening the box, the wood color is very red. Unfortunately, these will be returned. I can not comment on the sturdiness or assembly because they didn't even come out of the boxes. Espresso color to me is a dark brown/almost black color. These have a very strong red tone to them :(

The shelves look great. They're sturdy and have plenty of room. Assembly wasn't too bad either. The one major drawback and the reason I'm only giving them 4 stars is that they came with a sticker placed directly on the bottom of the top shelf that was an utter pain to remove. I had to buy Goo Gone and spend the better part of an hour to get it off. Perfect shelves otherwise, though.

No caps for the screw locks is a visual eye sore. Additionally, the side pieces don't sit flush together without additional sanding (the sides have to be assembled). There are some weird and useless groove in the middles of the sides looks ugly. It also calls out the fitment issue with the side pieces if you don't sand the sides down. My wife is the type of person that would ask me to fix whatever she bought even if it is defective right out of the gate though. Looks like this junk is staying home folks. Definitely would not recommend it to others though. Seen better looking bookcases elsewhere. Steer clear of this bad boy!

Looks great, but not the most stable. Definitely have to affix to the wall. One of the wall anchors was broken out of the box.

Purchased this shelf because of the great price. However, the quality was very disappointing. When putting the shelf together the pre fab holes on the particle board broke during assembly.

I’m giving this shelf 4 stars strictly on how it looks. It’s a beautiful shelf and we’re so happy with how it looks in our space. But the assembly was horrible. The side pieces were no problem, but the shelves made me want to pull my hair out!!! The way the screws go in blindly was so incredibly frustrating. Also, I wish there were screw caps for the sides, but not a deal breaker for us.
