60.13" Tracey Modern Display and Storage Bookcase - Linon: Gray Ladder, 5 Fixed Shelves

We bought this shelf. It literally feel apart the first night. The little dowels that go in to hold the shelves are not very long. Also the metal pieces crumbled.

I love the color of the shelves, it's fits in perfectly with my decor. these bookshelves are fairly simple to put together, it took me an hour to do two and get them into place. The shelves are sturdy and hold all my stuff. I absolutely love them. very good value for the cost.

I have purchased a lot of put it together yourself furniture, and this is the flimsiest thing I have purchased. I should have checked the weight before buying. I also did not like the color/texture in person. It arrived damaged in multiple areas, so packing it back up and taking it to the store was a real pain. It is way overpriced for what it is.

This product is good for a dorm room - maybe - for a college student. But that's about it. Although the color is nice and the design was what I was looking for, the rest of it is shoddy. I know you get what you pay for. However, in this case, I expected a little more for the money I spent. I bought two of these. The first box was a bit mangled (I get that); but once we started constructing it, we realized we needed to add some drilled holes because it was missing some. For quick assembly furniture, it was not. Also the shelves are not cut to fit well, so the construction is not tight. Hence it can fall apart if not balanced or too heavy of items are placed on it (even within weight limits). It does have wall-anchors, so that is a plus. The second box had a missing shelf. I contacted the company (not Target, but Linon) to request a replacement. Also not enough hardware in the box. Plus in both cases, the locking mechanisms for the screws don't really lock in place securely, so once again, it is in danger of collapsing. We are not newbies at furniture assembly and lots of other products from Target are great. This one is NOT.

Part of the shelf was damaged upon arrival. Finding a way around the defect was still easier than finding a way to repack all the materials and ship it back. Considering how little the shelf costs, it is actually pretty sturdy and thorough in it’s construction. Lovely color and look. Am happy with it since I was able to mend the damage.

Well made (considering price) and looks great in my home office. My husband and two small children put it together with ease. Only call out is that I wish there was more of an “end”/siding to the shelves so that books would stand up better. That said, I have them stacked and it works fine and still looks cute. Love it!

Love it! Very easy to put together. My first one came damaged actually but the second one was fine.

I love this ladder, it’s a great addition to my bathroom. A really good looking peice of furniture and easy to assemble.

Bought because we needed something cute like this and the reviews were generally good. Unfortunately, we just received our bookcase and though the color and style are great, it was damaged. As we started to put it together we quickly noticed there was a pretty good shunk on the actually left side of the main stand and one of the shelves (very bottom) was already broken/coming apart. Needless to say we put everything back in the box to send it back to target. I guess this is what you get when you buy cheap.

I really like this bookshelf it was pretty easy to put together I am a female and I don’t know much about power tools but I did use my husband’s power drill and it made things go a lot quicker. It’s definitely heavy and pretty well-built it is not solid wood it is more of an OSB but I really like it

Very nice piece but a little wobbly

LOVE this shelf!! It is the perfect addition to my living room. I am 7 months pregnant and put it together myself in less than an hour, very easy set up, and much sturdier than expected. Color is beautiful and neutral. Very happy with our purchase!!!

Adequate assembly instructions and fairly easy to actually assemble. It’s not hardwood, but it looks acceptable, and it is functional.

Faster than expected delivery - much easier assembly than most build it yourself pieces- sturdy - color is a blended grey/brown which works well for us - very pleased

its more brown then gray but still works.

Very, very pleased with these shelves! It definitely takes a bit of time to assemble, but so worth it. The coloring looks quite beautiful, and they are very sturdy. We were looking for something to put on either side of our fireplace to display pictures & decor, the open back & lean allows for plenty of display space without feeling like it's absorbing a lot of actual floor space. I sae these on another aite for almost twice as much money, when i saw them here i coukdnt pass them up. Just Great shelves at a great price!

I was very excited about this bookshelf. However, a year later and the bookshelf has developed streaks all over it. This is not a bookshelf that was even in use. It was for pure decoration. I am sad to see that the original color is fading.

This shelf is much sturdier than similar shelves that I've had, and it's the same price or possibly cheaper than I've paid (I don't remember exactly). The color is a warm grey, kind of between a cool light brown and a grey.
