Equal pros and cons
I got this as an alternative for when another, larger playmat is in the wash or otherwise unavailable. I do prefer the other mat for playing as it has rubber grips on the other side so it doesn’t slide. But this one is fine on carpet. It is great for photos, but is also rather small for playing. I have a 12lb four month old and she almost takes up the entire thing.

Poor quality design
The mat itself is functional and I like how padded it is so that I feel like baby is comfortable. Unfortunately the design is completely off center making it look like something I tried to make myself and did a poor job of. In fact, I think if I made it myself with no sewing experience I still would have done a better job.

So soft and cute.
This is so cute! It’s super soft and comfy for my baby to lay on. I mainly got it to use for monthly photos, which turned out great for his 5month photo. it’s super comfy for my baby to lay on. knocked off one star because it’s not very big for a playmat. I would suggest getting it when your baby is a newborn. But I have a 5 month old and I still have him play on it. Totally cute playmat though! And I put it in the washer and dryer and it was fine.

This is way better in person! Soooo soft and surprisingly thick. It feels like a plush baby blanket but thicker. Well made. So glad I ordered this for our baby boy. Our first baby had an activity gym with the hanging toys, but was never really interested in the toys when they were hanging. This play mat is way softer and cheaper. We'll be able to just hand him the toys he's interested in.

This is SUCH a cute mat! It's nice and comfortable and soft. Perfect for an activity area and tummy time! Id also recommend this for cute monthly updates. It's a nice size too! I love it!
The PLAYMAT CLOUD ISLAND FERN is a perfect size for a baby/toddler. The material is soft and design is beautiful. We use this while it is on the couch as well as on the ground and both work well. Easy to wash and fold up when not in use.
Very cute, soft, little playmat. It’s just big enough for my 5 month old to lay on. I had just been laying out blankets before I got this but this mat is more padded. We bought a second one to keep at grandma’s house for her hardwood floor (it is better than just a banket.) I like it for taking pictures of my little guy too. It’s a great backdrop for photos.

5 stars for cuteness, 2 stars for functionality. If you’re pregnant and looking at this it’s a good time to purchase because it will be useful before your baby is mobile but after that it’s too small for much. It’s beautiful and super soft but not as padded as i had hoped. It would still be a hard hit if your baby tipped over on tile/wood floor while sitting on this. My baby is 8 months old and is big for his age - this would be a better play mat if it were around 42 inches (vs. 36 inches). This fern print would make a really cute spot for monthly pictures if you start with newborn but if your baby is older/sitting I would skip this item.
