A: According to the instructions, the top rod holds 28.6 lbs, the extender rods hold 2.2 lbs each, and the middle rod holds 22 lbs.

A: This was UNSAFE. I put two together carefully and tightly. With a reasonable amount of clothes loaded (not full) one rack was leaning severly and about to topple over. It is a safety hazard: RECALL!

Ahhh...
So far so good. Seems sturdy enough for holding daily clothes and kids clothes. Am using it with the wheels ans.d have had no issues with it tipping over. Its decent, and for the money its a steal.

It keeps falling over?
I assembled this and had it maybe at 1/3 capacity and it stood for a couple days, but now keeps falling over. I’ve never had an issue with a target brand item before so I’m trying to figure out if something went wrong with assembly, but it seems like I followed all of the instructions correctly. I really like the concept, but can’t really have this rack falling over all the time

Don't buy it.
DON’T BUY IT! Seriously save yourself the trouble. I have never been so disappointed and aggravated with anything like this. It keeps falling over! The top bar also can’t hold much weight, even with toddler clothes on the top bar the bar kept sinking into the lower bar. All my clothes that were nice and clean are now in a pile in the floor all wrinkled up, including my nice work clothes that were on the bottom bar. It’s cheap for a reason ya’ll, don’t waste your time like I did.

Easy to assemble, but not good if you’re wanting to hang more than light-weight tops. It does the job if you’re only hanging t-shirts or kids clothing, but do not buy if you’re looking for some extra storage for jackets etc.

Good economical hanger.
It was pretty easy to assemble. I love the versatility and the spacesaving. It is not sturdy enough to replace your closet. It will lean and buckle to all the weight. Putting 2-3 weeks' worth of wardrobe on it should be good.

Do not buy! I ordered the cheaper rack with better reviews but Target sent this one instead. Besides not being what I purchased , the box which was sealed completely was missing pieces.
