Q: how much weight can it hold ? I need to hand a lot of clothes but afraid the rod will bend. Not sure if it'll be sturdy enough.

A: Hi Lorena, The maximum loading weight for the hanging bar is 65 lbs and the maximum loading weight for the shelf is 100 lbs, for a total of 165 lbs for the garment rack. Thanks!

This would easily be a 5-star if not for the tool included to assemble it that probably accounted for 15 of the 20 minutes it took to put together. The screwdriver on the tool was 1/3 the width of the screw slot, so it was difficult to keep it aligned much less get enough torque. Make a quality control person assemble the thing by using only what’s in the box, then see how fast they put a wider screwdriver in there. Bottom line: Love it because it’s compact and lightweight yet will hold a lot — perfect for my needs. But the included tool was stupid frustration-inducing small enough to knock off two stars. Bring Your Own Screwdriver.

This has been one of my favorite items I have ever bought at Target. It has been holding up for over two years, It can stack multiple hangers, it is very durable, and I love the bottom shelf for jeans and folded sweatshirts. If you are debating whether to get it or not.. GET IT. I recommend to everyone.

Really easy to assemble even for just one person. Only had a few scuffs and nicks on the material upon arrival, but nothing too terrible or noticeable. It takes up A LOT of space. Fits perfectly against a wall that’s about 44.5 inches in width. Rack (with clothing on it) juts out about 22 inches from a wall so it’s not ideal for small living spaces. But it does hold a lot of hanging items and lots of room to store things on the bottom rack. Pretty good product overall if you can get it at a good price.
