I’m convinced that the powers that be at Target decided to prank us all and repurpose a bunch of emergency candles to make this product. WHY does it take 12 hours to burn through 1 number?!? This is the longest burning candle of all time.

Cozy tradition
I love this candle and I’m shocked at all the bad reviews. It is so gorgeous, was so affordable and such a cozy tradition. Every night when it gets dark I light it and blow it out right before bed (5-10pm approximately). It works perfectly. People complaining about it burning slowly confuse me. That’s the best thing about it!!!

Slow burn, great price
Really affordable candle, with cute design, it had some wax chunked off the base from shipping but nothing that bothered me too much. The first burn takes the longest to get the candle going but it works wonderfully. The candle needs to be lit for around 3 hours on average to burn each number daily.

I give the candle itself a 4, as far as packing goes it’s a 1. Target just sent my candles in a box, not wrapped just sitting by each other in a box with nothing. By the time I got them they had rolled around and hit each other several times, so they both were chipped around the edges and dented.

Worth the Price
I really like the concept of this candle and I hope Target brings it back next year. I originally bought this candle because I liked the idea of putting it in the center of my advent wreath and the colors blended well. I love that it has a long burn however when you are supposed to light it everyday it is a little too long. It should burn from one number to the next in an hour. I start burning it when I start making dinner and by the time I'm finished eating dinner (about 1.5 hours later) it still hasn't reached the next number... I also have the tunneling issue that others mentioned. However, as a frequent candle burner I am unsure if this is because I am unable to burn it for as long as it is supposed to, to avoid this issue or if it has to do with the candle itself. Today is day 3 and I spent the past 4 hours trying to correct it so that hopefully it will burn correctly tomorrow.
