Great file cabinet, super solid, challenging assembly
The wood is manufactured wood and the cherry wood veneer is super sharp, looks great with our Sauder bookcase. Although there were scratches on the top and one of the sides, they provided a marker pen which colored in the scratches just fine. The assembly process was challenging because about 1/3 of the twist lock fasteners had to be removed to get the major pieces to fit together, then I could slide the fastener back in and everything worked out. I would recommend just putting the twist lock fasteners in a bag. It would have gone a little quicker not having to remove them first. The rails are completely adjustable witch was a welcome surprise as I was able to dial in the spacing between the drawers super easily after assembly. Looks great!

Assembly challenging / locking mechanism lacking
Bought 2 cabinets. Not every piece was marked. Followed instructions for first cabinet. It had you putting together the 2 heaviest pieces and then trying to lift it and get the dowels and locking mechanism lined up and put in their respective holes. The dowels should have been placed in the opposite hole because they went in deeper and would not be higher than the locking mechanism. Don't trust the locking mechanism. Believe it will not hold up and will slip out eventually. Damaged it putting it together. Had to use my own intuition and methods to assemble the second cabinet. Did not damage that one. Previous assembly of other furniture had locking hooks to secure pieces together and were tighter. I feel that is superior to your locking mechanism. It may be fine for drywall and hanging pictures but inadequate for furniture. I still have Sauder furniture that is over 20 years old And this cabinet was the most difficult to assemble and least satisfied with the finished assembly for the price.

Nice but…
Had to omit 3 of the locator dowels during assembly. Tried multiple times to get them to line up correctly but no dice — using just cam locks for those locations. Still seems sturdy enough tho.

Perfect 3 drawer file cabinet to fit under desk return
This fits and works perfectly. It has a hanging file cabinet in the bottom and 2 decently large drawers on top. It took me about an hour to assemble. I did get hung up a little on assembling the lock. With some little trial and error I assembled it perfectly and it works great. It's a sturdy file cabinet and is a nice addition to the collection.
